Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jamal Gläsel started the match with the kick off. Christoph Tiede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artemio Maore's late challenge caught a DJK Füchtel Vechta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Maore helped the player get up and apologised. Artemio Maore kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 13th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Kai Hilljegerdes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoph Tiede didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Jamal Gläsel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Håkan Söderberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Håkan Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Vielmann in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Artemio Maore hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Folke Vielmann sped through Degerfors IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Håkan Söderberg. In the 39th minute Tuncay Cansever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Hilljegerdes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Gistl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamal Gläsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tuncay Cansever to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tuncay Cansever's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kai Hilljegerdes was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Vielmann came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kai Hilljegerdes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Cansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kai Hilljegerdes made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tuncay Cansever sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Tuncay Cansever dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kai Hilljegerdes, 2-1. In the 75th minute Jamal Gläsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Folke Vielmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Söderberg. Degerfors IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Folke Vielmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 92 minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Witold Serwacki who took care of the corner kick. Witold Serwacki made a great header on Degerfors IF's corner, it was just that DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Hilljegerdes managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Håkansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kai Hilljegerdes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Håkansson ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Degerfors IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DJK Füchtel Vechta.
