Wilhelm Jakobsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Slipmaskinerna's players had a chance to rest. 14 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Jakobsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Waut Vanden Berghe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Slipmaskinerna booed when Twierdza Osowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jammy De Keijsere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Helander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waut Vanden Berghe having to interfere. Jorg Saelens's late challenge caught a Slipmaskinerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorg Saelens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th play minute Alf Brolin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Waut Vanden Berghe. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Hjalmar Odman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slipmaskinerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Hjalmar Odman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waut Vanden Berghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waut Vanden Berghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven-Edvin Moberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waut Vanden Berghe. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Helander in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Waut Vanden Berghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Brolin in the 53rd minute of play. Edvard Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 55th match minute, Slipmaskinerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Gert-Jan van haeve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Robert Stenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Drewitz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Faustino Cordaryal got a free kick in the 68th minute. Slipmaskinerna's Edvard Jönsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Edvard Jönsson off the ground. After 73 played minutes Slipmaskinerna got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Jönsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Jakobsson in the 76th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Waut Vanden Berghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Slipmaskinerna's Alf Brolin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waut Vanden Berghe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Wilhelm Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Waut Vanden Berghe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Slipmaskinerna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
