The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 6th minute Jonathan Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Joseph in the 7th minute of play forced Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Pedro Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1989 Blxsk's Santo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrus Catarinense in the 10th minute of play. Vitinho Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Seterma Tractors booed when 1989 Blxsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrus Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute, Seterma Tractors's Renato Dionísio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Renato Dionísio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Seterma Tractors protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Renato Dionísio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Pedro Čech had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Rene Gaueko's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 66 minutes into the game, 1989 Blxsk's Rene Gaueko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seterma Tractors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Bernad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 1989 Blxsk fans cheered their team off the field, for while Seterma Tractors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
