The supporters of ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ booed when Seterma Tractors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Kostrzewa didn't get a good kick on the ball. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Richard Laws got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Angelo Bertoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrus Catarinense in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Felipe Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Kenji Takahara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Čech skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Seterma Tractors's Vitinho Maciel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Bertoni. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Angelo Bertoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrus Catarinense in the 20th minute of the match. Renato Dionísio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mathias Fontes, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 30 played minutes Mathias Fontes rounded ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 33rd minute Vitinho Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Bertoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Dario Cerri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrus Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. Dario Cerri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pedro Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pacho Rino charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pacho Rino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ got a freekick which was hit by Pacho Rino. After having played for 60 minutes, Dario Cerri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Cerri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goal looked a bit too open when Petrus Catarinense came free, but Angelo Bertoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clarence Makélélé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Čech having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Lenzi during the 79th minute. Pedro Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Laws in the 83rd minute. Dario Cerri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seterma Tractors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
