In the 7th match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Raphael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá Breckenfeld having to make a save. Cacá Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Platon in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Mario Tiniebra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cacá Breckenfeld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Cacá Breckenfeld managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when 1989 Blxsk's Mario Tiniebra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as 1989 Blxsk's Mario Tiniebra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cacá Breckenfeld. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Jonathan Bartoli got a free kick in the 20th minute. Santo Shantala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Tande went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the last second Cacá Breckenfeld throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mario Tiniebra in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Edgar Davis kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, 1989 Blxsk's Mario Tiniebra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Breckenfeld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Carlos Platon scored to the left of an out of position Cacá Breckenfeld, making the score, 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as 1989 Blxsk's Mario Tiniebra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cacá Breckenfeld. That made the score 7-1 after 40 minutes of play. Carlos Platon's late challenge caught a OTTO FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Platon helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Tiniebra had several of the OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 8-1 score and a disappointed Cacá Breckenfeld as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Soeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Mario Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Platon in the 54th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Mario Tiniebra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Mario Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Breckenfeld having to interfere. If Jonathan Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonathan Bartoli came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Bartoli couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Mario Tiniebra put it in 9-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cacá Breckenfeld. 1989 Blxsk made a substitution. Osvaldo Bidun replaced Ciro Efren. 1989 Blxsk's Candido Joseph was substituted for Carlos Platon. When Mario Tiniebra came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Tiniebra couldn't finish the play. Osmar Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Cacá Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Tiniebra in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacá Breckenfeld saved OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Jonathan Bartoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1989 Blxsk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. After 91 minutes, Mario Tiniebra made it 13-1 with a short kick to the right side. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Mario Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that 1989 Blxsk were the better team. 1989 Blxsk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
