In the 12th minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fabiano Abraão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmílson Santos. Edmílson Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Edmílson Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Abraão in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Carlos Augusto Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merusca F&P - CIMZ and the Jacuitiba - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Duda Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Marcinho Negri scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmílson Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Şah Conkur came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şah Conkur couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Marcinho Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmílson Santos came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marcinho Negri. But to his dismay, Marcinho Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
