With 12 minutes on the clock, Artemio Raphael commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Timo! fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Hüsrev Kutam placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Roque Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Hamdi Tunçaslan in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Niguel Mansell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramazan Eygül, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Humberto Mel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramazan Eygül was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Roque Montes came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by HHH's Gani Kahveci. But to his dismay, Gani Kahveci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Mel made a kick off. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rene Ilixo hit a great ball. Timo!'s Roque Montes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Timo! from getting a goal against them. Roque Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nihat Tokuşhan in the 58th minute of the match. If Niguel Mansell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Franco Colapinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timo!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Colapinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Timo! defense, Mustafa Numan Buğdaycı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Montes. The Timo! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Montes should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute Nihat Tokuşhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Timo!'s Warner Timo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Franco Colapinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramazan Eygül. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Colapinto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Timo!'s Roque Montes got control of the ball when Gani Kahveci tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded HHH left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Timo!.
