Aureliano Obeko made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sergiu Costa sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko got control of the ball when Sergiu Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, one of MIT:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 13 minutes into the match, Amador Jakue had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitko Vutev. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Jakue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bartolo Cresconio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Aureliano Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Costa in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes Leones FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabin Eniceicu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on MIT's corner Sabin Eniceicu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aureliano Obeko quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Câmpeanu to maneuver through the defense. When Jaime Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Leones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Mundo couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Costa came free, but Aureliano Obeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Obeko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emil Glodeanu. Sergiu Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Obeko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcu Voitiş went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Aureliano Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Costa in the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Leonardo Poz hit a great ball. After 48 played minutes, MIT's Sabin Eniceicu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MIT reached it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Sabin to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Mannie. After 55 minutes, Marcu Voitiş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MIT's Marcu Voitiş got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes, Leones FC's Alejo Louis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitko Vutev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leones FC reached it. Aureliano Obeko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcu Voitiş went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Marcu Voitiş was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergiu Costa in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Obeko saved Leones FC from getting behind. MIT's Sergiu Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MIT's Sever Dobrescu was substituted for Cristi Foltea. 71 minutes into the match, MIT's Dacian Corbu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Obeko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Poz to maneuver through the defense. Flavius Câmpeanu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, MIT's Andrei Opincaru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andrei Opincaru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MIT protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andrei Opincaru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 2-3 came through a penalty shot after 87 played minutes, when Leones FC:s Amador Jakue calmly waited for MIT:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Alejo Louis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitko Vutev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Dacian Corbu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
