Carlos Leclerc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Cerezo in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Cerezo in the 16th minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Carlos Leclerc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hamilton Luis fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jumeuc Futebol Clube's protests and gave Hamilton Luis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hamilton Luis hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Januz Hristovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Leclerc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamilton Luis in the 21st minute of play forced NGOP Football Club's goalkeeper Stanislav Filipov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Dedé Fernandes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanislav Filipov. Stanislav Filipov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Fernandes in the 30th minute of play forced NGOP Football Club's goalkeeper Stanislav Filipov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slobodan Nikoloski hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Carlos Leclerc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dedé Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd play minute Hamilton Luis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stanislav Filipov. 2-0. In the 46th minute of the match, Francisco da Cunha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stanislav Filipov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedé Fernandes made a kick off. The supporters of NGOP Football Club booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Trajče Ickovski came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the NGOP Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trajče Ickovski couldn't finish the play. NGOP Football Club's Stanislav Filipov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco da Cunha in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Lara. 66 minutes into the match, NGOP Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Fernandes came free, but Stanislav Filipov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Jumeuc Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Jeremias Linhares went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Jeremias Linhares to fire away a dangerous shot which Stanislav Filipov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ljupčo Janev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Leclerc. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco da Cunha in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanislav Filipov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute Francisco da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Filipov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislav Filipov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamilton Luis's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Dedé Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislav Filipov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamilton Luis in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Ljupčo Janev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NGOP Football Club and the Jumeuc Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in NGOP Football Club's zone, Jeremias Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislav Filipov came out of the goal and Jeremias Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NGOP Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
