Carlos Augusto Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Rawa in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palmeiras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Palmeiras's Carlos Augusto Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Pilsudski in the 12th minute of play. ◄19A10►Brunsberga's Marian Cuber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save ◄19A10►Brunsberga from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, ◄19A10►Brunsberga's Roman Pilsudski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Augusto Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amadeo Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Cuber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Boldrini in the 35th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Jerry Gane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras's Carlos Augusto Recife was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Rawa came free, but Carlos Augusto Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jerry Gane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivaldo Furlan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Mariusz Gdowski, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Tuste stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Furlan. Marian Cuber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Boldrini in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Tião Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Cuber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yavuz Selimhan Haymanalı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Recife having to interfere. Palmeiras made a substitution. Toninho Prestes replaced Dagoberto Moura. In the 87th minute, Jerry Gane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Caio Boldrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Cuber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Augusto Recife was a little too slow when Czeslaw Rawa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 4-2. Palmeiras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
