The Rembertów DJs fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Rembertów DJs's Ludomil Frankowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arne Kilström made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ludomil Frankowski sent off a good shot on target. When AIK FOTBOLL's Johan Kuse in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rembertów DJs's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Kiempe in the 27th minute of play. AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Obuchowicz in the 28th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute Damazy Obuchowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Rembertów DJs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Mosiniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludomil Frankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Kilström having to interfere. AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Rutecki in the 85th minute of play. Robert Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jerzy Dudek made a huge save. After 88 minutes, D.J. Python mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rembertów DJs and the AIK FOTBOLL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Rembertów DJs got a freekick which was hit by D.J. Python. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Pedro Paulo Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Paulo Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Dudek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Rembertów DJs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Frankowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes, AIK FOTBOLL's Viggo Harlén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AIK FOTBOLL reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rembertów DJs had won after a very even match.
