Svante Vestlund kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Dragoş Cordescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Kilström skillfully saved the ball. 5 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Hedin came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Stelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Deckberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Dahlqvist in the 13th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by AIK FOTBOLL's Evert Dahlqvist. But to his dismay, Evert Dahlqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bogdan Stelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save AIK FOTBOLL from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Hedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Potopea hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elof Hedin in the 36th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Barbăroșie in the 37th minute of play. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by AIK FOTBOLL's Elof Hedin. But to his dismay, Elof Hedin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Elof Hedin took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Stelea. Bogdan Stelea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

After 55 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Olov Deckberg. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Cordescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Dahlqvists short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Bogdan Stelea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute, Elof Hedin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bogdan Stelea. The goal made the score 0-4. Dragoş Cordescu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Robert Hermansson replaced Evert Dahlqvist. In the 66th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Cordescu to maneuver through the defense. Svante Vestlund hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Dragoş Cordescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Kilström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Fredrik Axelsson notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Stelea. Bogdan Stelea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Deckberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Fredrik Axelsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as AIK FOTBOLL's Fredrik Axelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogdan Stelea. That made the score 0-6 after 91 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's zone, Robert Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal and Robert Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The AIK FOTBOLL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AIK FOTBOLL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
