Marcello Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Cristiano Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tribos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Segundo Balendin was slow to take the kick. During this time Vikingos FC's players had a chance to rest. Vikingos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Segundo Balendin in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Segundo Balendin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvin van der Saar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristiano Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Daunte made a huge save. In the 32nd minute of the match, Cristiano Faria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eleuterio Daunte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcello Lewandowski came free, but Eleuterio Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Marcello Lewandowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eleuterio Daunte. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 43rd minute of the match, Cristiano Faria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eleuterio Daunte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tribos were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Vikingos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedrinho Figueiredo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Pedrinho Figueiredo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eleuterio Daunte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Simon Liher was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tribos fully deserved thier win.
