When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Guilherme Souza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of J.P. España. Alirio Puyol made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerald Deulofeu. J.P. España showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Souza in the 17th minute of play forced Villawalter City's goalkeeper J.P. España to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Lucian Bencoiechea with Gerald Deulofeu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Guilherme Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. J.P. España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Souza in the 22nd minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Lobo Guará made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. J.P. España was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Souza came free, but J.P. España reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but J.P. España read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villawalter City's goalkeeper J.P. España, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Guilherme Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. J.P. España was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Lobo Guará got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lobo Guará was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lobo Guará managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Lobo Guará was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. J.P. España breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Guilherme Souza took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for J.P. España to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Villawalter City booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Samuca Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. J.P. España made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Souza in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Villawalter City's zone, Guilherme Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. J.P. España came out of the goal and Guilherme Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Guilherme Souza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of J.P. España, 1-6. Lobo Guará recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. J.P. España made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Guilherme Souza sent off a good shot on target. J.P. España was a little too slow when Guilherme Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-7. The Villawalter City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Imbituba - FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Imbituba - FSCMZ.
