Mircea Creangă charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mircea Creangă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mircea Creangă hit a great ball. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Garate, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Aritz Morales scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Lung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s Silviu Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Deulofeu in the 19th minute of play. J.P. España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Muntean in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurențiu Muntean in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg J.P. España saved Villawalter City from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Anxo Maestro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Laurențiu Muntean took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for J.P. España to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Aluncai to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Borza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without J.P. España having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Ovidiu Borza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. J.P. España was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aritz Morales in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silviu Lung saved Stiinta-Univ. from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurențiu Muntean to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Laurențiu Muntean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Muntean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Aluncai charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aritz Morales in the 55th minute of the match. Silviu Lung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anxo Maestro in the 57th minute. Laurențiu Muntean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.P. España having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Muntean in the 64th minute of play forced Villawalter City's goalkeeper J.P. España to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. J.P. España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Burdujan in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Muntean came free, but J.P. España reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Muntean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.P. España having to interfere. The Villawalter City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villawalter City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
