Eleuterio Daunte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcello Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Braulio Eztebe was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Cristiano Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Aureo got free with Edvin van der Saar in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleuterio Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Urbano in the 28th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Marcel Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Daunte. Vikingos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Vikingos FC defense, Marcello Lewandowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Daunte. The Vikingos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Daunte should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcello Lewandowski came free, but Eleuterio Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Gonzalo Argoitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvin van der Saar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 42nd minute, Bernardo Bela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Tribos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Millrick made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Tribos's Cristiano Faria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eleuterio Daunte. Eleuterio Daunte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Eleuterio Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcello Lewandowski in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vikingos FC's zone, Marcello Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Daunte came out of the goal and Marcello Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Filiberto Crispo made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lázaro Millrick. Vikingos FC's Segundo Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vikingos FC's Desiderio Modestio was substituted for Honorato Aureo. Vikingos FC's Leon Garci was substituted for Gonzalo Argoitz. Desiderio Modestio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Sixto Mero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikingos FC and the Tribos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Sixto Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tribos's Jaroslaw Winograd got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Modestio in the 78th minute of play forced Tribos's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Marcello Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tribos's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcello Lewandowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Daunte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 87thth minute of the game Marcello Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes Vikingos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedrinho Figueiredo who took care of the corner kick. Tribos's Pedrinho Figueiredo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eleuterio Daunte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 93 played minutes Tribos got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Paiva. When the final whistle sounded Tribos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vikingos FC.
