A collision led to Quebra Ossos FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gugu Saldanha hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Håkan Eklund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitório Britto. That made the score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. A hard shot by Roger Norberg from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Vitório Britto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vitório Britto made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Håkan Eklund sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Eklund came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vitório Britto could save by the left post. Joel Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elói Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BK Värdsholmen's Roger Norberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitório Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo-Erik Grelsson in the 60th minute of play. When BK Värdsholmen's Håkan Eklund in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joel Tolsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Téo Fonseca. Gugu Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Tolsson having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's Håkan Eklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitório Britto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When BK Värdsholmen's Bo-Erik Grelsson in 85 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Vitório Britto guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in.
