An unexpectedly hard shot by Tore-Andre Flø in the 31st minute of play forced C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Ingvar Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Angelo Rage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Cayetano Dantae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting a goal against them. After 41 minutes of play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Angelo Rage made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Dantae was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Virgilio Iyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C Ａ R D I N Ａ L the free kick. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alfonso Vachon hit a great ball. Cayetano Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 55th minute of the match. Virgilio Iyan got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 61st minute of the match Denis Nisipeanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Dantae skillfully saved the ball. Denis Nisipeanu's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Cayetano Dantae - 4-0 was put on the score board in the 61st minute. Cayetano Dantae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Armando Maradona went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Niceto Botello was substituted for Angelo Rage. Cayetano Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 81st minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Cayetano Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmund Przybyciel in the 82nd minute. The corner ended in Edmund Przybyciel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Cayetano Dantae did a great save. In the 90th minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Cayetano Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 93rd minute of the match.
