Romeo Raphael kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Prospero Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leander Uliassi in the 5th minute of the match. When Fire Devils's Loris Hellmüller in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rafaela FC's goalie prevented a goal. Francisco Bleyer struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Prospero Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. With a little luck, Fire Devils's Toto Caputo got control of the ball when Romeo Raphael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toto Caputo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Bonifaco in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Lambrozzi in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Calvino saved Rafaela FC from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Rafaela FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Bonifaco. After 26 minutes of play, Fire Devils's Leander Uliassi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Calvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prospero Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cillian Zellweger in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Romeo Raphael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Thaddäus Striner. 41 minutes into the game, Zeledon Locaio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Toto Caputo. Zeledon Locaio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Denis Lambrozzi got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leander Uliassi to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Rafaela FC's Jacobo Fero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jacobo Fero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rafaela FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jacobo Fero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rafaela FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Toto Caputo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Locaio in the 65th minute of the match. Prospero Calvino made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Leander Uliassi sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cillian Zellweger got free with Prospero Calvino in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Marko hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes of play, Rafaela FC's Eriberto Navarro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toto Caputo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 78 minutes, Cillian Zellweger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fire Devils and the Rafaela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Cirella to maneuver through the defense. Fire Devils's Toto Caputo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Locaio in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Anibal Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Bonifaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute Anibal Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toto Caputo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Perez Gier fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire Devils's protests and gave Perez Gier a yellow card for diving instead. Perez Gier kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Toto Caputo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Locaio's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leander Uliassi in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Calvino saved Rafaela FC from getting behind. Eriberto Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rafaela FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fire Devils had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
