Augustin Horea hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Orlando de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nicu Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Academia Militar MZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Augustin Horea scored to the left of an out of position Silvério Netto, making the score, 1-0. After 24 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Chaves. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Sergiu Timaru shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silvério Netto but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando de Andrade in the 27th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia Militar MZ's Silvério Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Aplugăriței in the 28th minute of play. Dedé Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Arghirescu having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Academia Militar MZ's Orlando de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho de Salles in the 39th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Orlando de Andrade notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Liviu Alupulesei got a free kick in the 48th minute. Dedé Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Academia Militar MZ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 58 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Orlando de Andrade. 62 minutes into the game, Academia Militar MZ's Orlando de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 65th minute, Toninho Dias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. The goal made the score 1-4. Orlando de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Academia Militar MZ's Silvério Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Ungur in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Aplugăriței to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Club Sportiv Medgidia defense, Orlando de Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. The Club Sportiv Medgidia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicu Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Academia Militar MZ's Orlando de Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Orlando de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Liviu Alupulesei hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Toninho Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Nicu Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club Sportiv Medgidia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Academia Militar MZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
