Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria FC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Alupulesei. Liviu Alupulesei hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Lorenzo Candelario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicu Arghirescu skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Tulio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
