Nereo Santxol made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lino Belo immediately put the ball in play. Mi querida Fabiola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cugat Marines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cugat Marines got free with Fabio Filipo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Baltazar Fonticoba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Filipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Mi querida Fabiola's Nereo Santxol got a free kick in the 25th minute. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Anter Titos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nereo Santxol, made in the 29th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Baltazar Fonticoba made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Filipo. Mi querida Fabiola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cugat Marines got free with Fabio Filipo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Filipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Fonticoba's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The supporters of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Joey Rosario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mi querida Fabiola the free kick. Joey Rosario hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Flavio Vigil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Xorxe Soldado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabio Filipo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baltazar Fonticoba. But to his dismay, Baltazar Fonticoba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's attentive Anter Titos managed to snatch the ball when Nereo Santxol made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Xorxe Soldado was a little too slow when Lino Belo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 6-1. 64 minutes into the match, Mi querida Fabiola's goal looked a bit too open when Cugat Marines came free, but Fabio Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mi querida Fabiola's Fabio Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cugat Marines in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Mi querida Fabiola's goal looked a bit too open when Cugat Marines came free, but Fabio Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Mendez in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Filipo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Anter Titos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nereo Santxol, made in the 79th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the game, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Ruperto Mendez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Filipo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Fabio Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cugat Marines in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Nereo Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Vigil came free, but Xorxe Soldado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Cugat Marines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Santxol kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Timur Özdil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
