After 7 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Oxel. Fermin Lucero hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rivermania FC booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Rufio in the 12th minute of the match. Hermengildo Rufio took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelino Raulo. Angelino Raulo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Abascal got free with Angelino Raulo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Rufio in the 20th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Angelino Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Serafino Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Rivermania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Chuan couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Rivermania FC's Angelino Raulo threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicanor Dimas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. La Zabaleta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Dionisio Abascal scored to the left of an out of position Angelino Raulo, making the score, 3-0. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Rufio in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Rivermania FC were awarded a corner. Uriel Vincente went to the cornerflag to take it. Uriel Vincente made a great header on Rivermania FC's corner, it was just that La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo managed to reach the ball for a save. La Zabaleta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hermengildo Rufio 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Rufio made a kick off. Fausto Oxel hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Rufio struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Angelino Raulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivermania FC. In the 57th minute Dionisio Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Abascal in the 58th minute of play. Angelino Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Dionisio Abascal made a precise shot to the right of Angelino Raulo. La Zabaleta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. La Zabaleta's Mateo Blanco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nicanor Dimas, made in the 64th minute of the game. Angelino Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Dionisio Abascal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Angelino Raulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dionisio Abascal might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Abascal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute Serafino Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Dimas came free, but Angelino Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Arturo Henrico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Zabaleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivermania FC the free kick. Nicanor Dimas scored 7-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Raulo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes, Camilo Sayveon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivermania FC and the La Zabaleta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Sayveon to maneuver through the defense.
