Franz Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Franz Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Bjarkmann in the 13th minute of play. Egil Sølve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 16th minute of play. Egil Sølve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 19th minute of the match. Vagner Vennitze hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Lanfranchi got free with Egil Sølve in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Nicolas Philibert got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Tonni Dong, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Tonni Dong came free, but Franz Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Loui Bargmann.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Lanfranchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egil Sølve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Lanfranchi in the 51st minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Adam Lanfranchi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Egil Sølve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sébastien Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cats and dogs's Franz Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cats and dogs from getting a goal against them. When Jean-Pascal Herrmann came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Cats and dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Pascal Herrmann couldn't finish the play. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Reinhardt Vittenbach replaced Samuel Berghagen. A collision led to Holmkjar Hotspurs getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonhard Larhøj hit a great ball. Hocine Maret kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Adam Lanfranchi. Vagner Vennitze scored 0-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franz Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franz Torres made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Kalle Bjarkmann sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Cats and dogs's Franz Torres got control of the ball when Vagner Vennitze tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Jean-Pascal Herrmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Sølve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Jean-Pascal Herrmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Sølve. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Pascal Herrmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 88th minute Adam Lanfranchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Sølve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
