Tonni Dong started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute Honorio Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Sølve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Honorio Efraim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egil Sølve was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Telmo de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oluf Ankerbøl in the 15th minute. Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. Telmo de Amorim was a little too slow when Oluf Ankerbøl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Egil Sølve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Vagner Vennitze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holmkjar Hotspurs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vagner Vennitze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egil Sølve was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egil Sølve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Guerreiro in the 37th minute of play. Loui Bargmann's late challenge caught a Sport Club Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loui Bargmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Quirino to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Efraim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Mavericks's zone, Oluf Ankerbøl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo de Amorim came out of the goal and Oluf Ankerbøl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dani Alves hit a great ball. Oluf Ankerbøl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Telmo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Lillebroe to maneuver through the defense. Edvard Lillebroe kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Filippini got free with Egil Sølve in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Mavericks's zone, Oluf Ankerbøl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo de Amorim came out of the goal and Oluf Ankerbøl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Bjarkmann was substituted for Oluf Ankerbøl. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Micael Byvold replaced Holger Korst. In the 70th minute, Loui Bargmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Guerreiro in the 74th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Egil Sølve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Sølve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Guerreiro in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Armando Guerreiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Mavericks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Arturo Filippini kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Egil Sølve was a little too slow when Armando Guerreiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egil Sølve. That made the score 2-4 after 91 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Edvard Lillebroe got a free kick in the 96th minute. When Arturo Filippini came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Filippini couldn't finish the play. The Holmkjar Hotspurs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sport Club Mavericks's performance. The match ended with a win for Sport Club Mavericks.
