Telmo de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Philibert during the 45th minute. Telmo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ange Chatry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cats and dogs were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Sport Club Mavericks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ange Chatry took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cats and dogs's corner Morgan Pla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Telmo de Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. When Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Franz Torres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Despite being the better team, Sport Club Mavericks failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
