Cristo Gonchan started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Leonardo Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PGE FC's Alberto Diagur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kaká Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Gonchan in the 9th minute of play. Percy Lopes hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Leonardo Magalhães in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alberto Diagur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute Cristiano Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guillermo Eguen fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PGE FC's protests and gave Guillermo Eguen a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Eguen in the 31st minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, PGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Hechter to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Jenipapo SC defense, Guillermo Eguen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaká Lopes. The Jenipapo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaká Lopes should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alberto Diagur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jenipapo SC. 45 minutes into the game, Leonardo Magalhães lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Alberto Diagur. With an all-out effort, Jenipapo SC's Alberto Diagur threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Magalhães, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Magalhães in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Diagur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Percy Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Esteban Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Eguen in the 72nd minute of play. If Cristo Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Gonchan came free, but Kaká Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Gonchans short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Kaká Lopes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 77 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Félix. In the 82nd minute Leonardo Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Guillermo Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Kaká Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristo Gonchan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Kaká Lopes made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, PGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Gonchan to maneuver through the defense.
