Aimilios Manolas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andra Levandy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Apa Mau hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Aimilios Manolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Osimhen in the 30th minute of play. Kurniawan Bisri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Kaszubowski's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Liviu Zubaşcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PHOENIX SC's Kurniawan Bisri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Kaszubowski in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Andra Levandy hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Carter Campese fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uptown Otters's protests and gave Carter Campese a yellow card for diving instead. Carter Campese kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Otang Haryanto Ie kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX SC's Otang Haryanto Ie got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute Liviu Zubaşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurniawan Bisri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Zubaşcu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurniawan Bisri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Liviu Zubaşcu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kurniawan Bisri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kurniawan Bisri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Zubaşcu in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Apa Mau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apa Mau kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Kaszubowski came free, but Kurniawan Bisri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Uptown Otters booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Sungkono didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Sungkono during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
