Juan Su charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Su the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Juan Su got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Marques. Falcão Marques hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Samuca Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Erik Lönn's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Gil dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Estefan. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Estefan should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Falcão Marques made a precise shot to the right of Justo Estefan. Formentera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Poncio in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Manoel Mota hit a great ball. Juan Su scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuca Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuca Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Marques came free, but Justo Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Justo Estefan made a huge save. Samuca Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Poncio in the 41st minute of the match. Manoel Mota's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manoel Mota helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Manoel Mota got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Poncio was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Adalberto Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justo Estefan. Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalberto Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Chicão Matos got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Samuca Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Lönn. Chicão Matos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Chicão Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Vela was slow to take the kick. During this time Formentera's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joaquin Vela got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samuca Bezerra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 69 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Samuca Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Su. Samuca Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Jan-Erik Lönn sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuca Bezerra. That made the score 3-2 after 77 minutes of play. Jan-Erik Lönn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Samuca Bezerra made a huge save. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Modesto Poncio hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
