Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnaldo Hurko started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Bastian Ytterstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olav Øverby stood somewhat misplaced when Arnaldo Hurko came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. In the 17th minute, San Lorenzo's Flavio Lucila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Bastian Ytterstad came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Brufoss IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastian Ytterstad couldn't finish the play. Ruben Gervaso kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Kenneth Foldnes hit a great ball. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Preben Halden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor-Egil Arntsen hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Ytterstad in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arild Reppen during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Arild Reppen got a free kick in the 39th minute. Anier Oidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bastian Ytterstad went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tor-Egil Arntsen made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Tor-Egil Arntsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Oidor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Anier Oidor made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tor-Egil Arntsen sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor got control of the ball when Tor-Egil Arntsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Celedonio Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jørund Nyhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Anier Oidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor-Egil Arntsen. Arnaldo Hurko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Hægeland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Anier Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Bastian Ytterstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brufoss IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastian Ytterstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Eilert Grønseth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brufoss IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eilert Grønseth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Arnaldo Hurko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olav Øverby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Abad hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Anier Oidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brufoss IL had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
