Gigi Câmpeanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Baldomero Asteri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cazimir Iorgovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Codruț to maneuver through the defense. Atila Edu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nechifor Oargă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ulises Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Hotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Oargă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atila Edu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Ati Cabezudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nechifor Oargă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Gavril Niculiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Asteri having to interfere. Alin Feroiu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baldomero Asteri firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigi Câmpeanu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Atila Edu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atila Edu in the 56th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Nechifor Oargă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Nechifor Oargă as he didn't even see the shot coming. Atila Edu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score was now 1-5. 87 minutes into the match, Ulises Hotz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nechifor Oargă, 1-6. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Nechifor Oargă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ati Cabezudo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 91st playminute. When the match was over Despidida AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC UNIREA Alba Iulia throughout the match.
