Memphis Depay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Simões having to interfere. After some careless play in the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ defense, Rio Dunn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doriva Simões. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doriva Simões should have stopped the shot. Ed Sills took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doriva Simões. Doriva Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Doriva Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute Ed Sills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Júnior Tinoco hit a great ball. Doriva Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ defense, Dale Dingle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doriva Simões. Doriva Simões was a little too slow when Des Bancroft got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Queirós in the 63rd minute of play forced FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Tommy Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Rio Dunn notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Doriva Simões. Doriva Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC LIVERPOOL booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Dale Dingle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Des Bancroft got free with Doriva Simões in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Des Bancroft in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doriva Simões, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stew Jewson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. FC LIVERPOOL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 92nd minute Des Bancroft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Des Bancroft dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Doriva Simões, 0-12. Doriva Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Des Bancroft, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. FC LIVERPOOL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
