The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Black Dog F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Prospero Nuxila hit a great ball. Caio da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Sancho in the 25th minute of play. The Black Dog F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ubarna should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Ubarna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão de Salles's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The Black Dog F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abutres 2003 FDP were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Sancho to strike the kick off in the second half. Abutres 2003 FDP's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
