Olimpiu Târlea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Tadeusz Dziechciowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Târlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 11th minute of play. Tadeusz Dziechciowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olimpiu Târlea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Sakura Storm got a corner. A4p FC Gad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marvelous Ronaldinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. 15 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Tărău came free, but Zakir Novruzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Vlăsiu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sakura Storm booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Penaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sacit Selmi's late challenge caught a A4p FC Gad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 35th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Olimpiu Târlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Târlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Grigoroiu in the 52nd minute of play. A4p FC Gad's Codrin Dragalina got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Robert Vlăsiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Târlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olimpiu Târlea saved A4p FC Gad from getting behind. When Remus Chițes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sakura Storm booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Chițes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Remus Chițes got a free kick in the 66th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeusz Dziechciowski couldn't finish the play. Olimpiu Târlea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vinícius Juniors really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The throw-in from Erruki Sotes in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A4p FC Gad's Robert Vlăsiu. After a rather tough play, Sakura Storm's Severino Carriedo got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Tadeusz Dziechciowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Târlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Târlea was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Tadeusz Dziechciowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeusz Dziechciowski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sakura Storm walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
