Catugi FC's Sven-Edvin Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Tărău in the 22nd minute of play. Olimpiu Târlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Dragalina in the 30th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Târlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Dragalina in the 40th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Catugi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Petru Tărău made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Chițes in the 53rd minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Catugi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luca Penaru was slow to take the kick. During this time A4p FC Gad's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luca Penaru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Catugi FC's Sven-Edvin Skräddare did a great save.
