Thanks to some nice moves Anacleto Silviano could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Benicio Senen however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Tagliafico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Marvin Mars managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's supporters rose to their feet, but Marvin Mars was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Senen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Silviano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Benicio Senen made a huge save. When Nunez Arias came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Arias couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Benicio Senen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Silviano. After 35 minutes, Leonel Gonsalve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC FUSION and the Defensores del Tiki Tiki players grew even worse after the yellow card. 39 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Lando came free, but Facundo Vila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Brais hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Marvin Mars took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benicio Senen. AFC FUSION's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Facundo Vila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Arias in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Defensores del Tiki Tiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Rufio to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Anacleto Silviano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Senen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Facundo Vila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Arias in the 60th minute of play.
