The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Adrian Gănescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granicerul and the Kanalla F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kanalla F.C booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Gănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Bebeșel was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Marcus Rashford capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Rashford really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rashford in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granicerul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrado Mogel was slow to take the kick. During this time Kanalla F.C's players had a chance to rest. Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rashford in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Leon Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kanalla F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Quin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcus Rashford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Kanalla F.C's Octavian Bebeșel threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcus Rashford, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adrian Gănescu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Valeriu Uduleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granicerul's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriu Uduleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Marcus Rashford made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Bebeșel. Granicerul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granicerul's goalkeeper Octavian Bebeșel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Kanalla F.C's corner Conrado Mogel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Octavian Bebeșel quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Rashford was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Uduleanu got free with Delmar Ignado in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavian Bebeșel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Rashford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Bebeșel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Rashford's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Codrin Olaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Valeriu Uduleanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delmar Ignado, 5-1. 69 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Delmar Ignado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriu Uduleanu. Octavian Bebeșel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercüment Tanju in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Gănescu to maneuver through the defense. Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercüment Tanju in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Ercüment Tanju notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel. Octavian Bebeșel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Kanalla F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Granicerul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
