The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jesus Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mons Vallestad in the 19th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Codruț Podgoreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Flor. Teodelina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codruț Podgoreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Teodelina FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Minerul Baita -MM- were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Gilabert to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cédric Payen got free with Jesus Flor in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Salvadore. 57 minutes into the game, Cédric Payen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jesus Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesus Flor made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Cédric Payen sent off a good shot on target. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Victor Lupeanu replaced Ivan Herescu. Paulino Milio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Teodelina FC's zone, Victor Lupeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Flor came out of the goal and Victor Lupeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Andreas Brehme hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Minerul Baita -MM- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Teodelina FC.
