In the 13th minute Alfredo Campo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Garlic Eaters's Shane Barratt made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Allegretti was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Cardano got free with Gul Keep in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Garlic Eaters's James Tuck in 37 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Claudio Allegretti guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Charlie Silk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Allegretti having to make a save. Claudio Allegretti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from James Tuck went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Alfredo Campo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Alfredo Campo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, James Tuck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Allegretti made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Shane Barratt sent off a good shot on target. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Shane Barratt scored to the left of an out of position Claudio Allegretti, making the score, 1-4. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Campo in the 61st minute of play. Shane Barratt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudio Allegretti firmly grabbed it by the left post. Claudio Allegretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Falcão in the 65th minute of the match. Gez Barber made a great header on Garlic Eaters's corner, it was just that Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Claudio Allegretti managed to reach the ball for a save. The long shot by Gez Barber in the 69th minute really tested Claudio Allegretti's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 73rd minute Alfredo Campo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Fantauzzi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Shane Barratt came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Garlic Eaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Barratt couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shane Barratt in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Allegretti saved Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, James Tuck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Allegretti. James Tuck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Garlic Eaters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
