Bruninho Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Flor having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gul Keep. Garlic Eaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when James Tuck came free, but Jesus Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Teodelina FC's Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jesus Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Tuck in the 27th minute of play. Garlic Eaters's James Tuck got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Hammond might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Flor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Hammond ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Hammond came free, but Jesus Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gul Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eliseo Gonzales hit a great ball. Teodelina FC's Jesus Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Falcão in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, James Tuck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Hammond made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Tuck in the 54th minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Jesus Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Kauldi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gul Keep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teodelina FC. After having played for 60 minutes, Cliff Gurney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garlic Eaters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cliff Gurney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodelina FC's Jesus Flor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Teodelina FC from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, James Tuck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Flor. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 67th minute, Garlic Eaters's James Tuck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Flor. Jesus Flor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When Paulino Milio fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teodelina FC's protests and gave Paulino Milio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Paulino Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, James Tuck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 80th minute, Bruninho Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Robert Hammond got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jesus Flor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jesus Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Falcão in the 86th minute of play. Garlic Eaters made a substitution. Barney Stevens replaced Bruninho Falcão. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cayetano Garci hit a great ball. Robert Hammond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jesus Flor made a huge save. Garlic Eaters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
