LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save LA LUZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. Marciano Maore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. João Pedro Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Marciano Maore got a free kick in the 38th minute. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Gugu Ortiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LA LUZ F.C.. After 54 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Velasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Munhoz in the 57th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Mejía to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Artime who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of João Pedro Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fausto Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but João Pedro Rodrigues made a huge save. Wilson Amaral scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Mejía, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Afonsinho Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Mejía saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joinville United - FSCMZ's João Pedro Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Artime in the 67th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, João Pedro Rodrigues successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 86 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Carneiro came free, but João Pedro Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaldo Barral scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Mejía, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Joinville United - FSCMZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
