In the 8thth minute of the game Dennis Bergkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Dennis Bergkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Mejía. LA LUZ F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Bergkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to LA LUZ F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Víctor Espárrago hit a great ball. LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save LA LUZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Marciano Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Bergkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Mejía read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robustiano Astudillo in the 34th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cipriano Abajas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luís Mejía quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Dennis Bergkamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Mejía came out of the goal and Dennis Bergkamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Polenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Humberto Quinito from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Luís Mejía's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luís Mejía made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Dennis Bergkamp sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

LA LUZ F.C.'s Fausto Johans was substituted for Marciano Maore. Luís Artime could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ambrosio Peruxu made a huge save. Luís Artime who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Ambrosio Peruxu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 53rd match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Quilo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Celestino Katia got a free kick in the 57th minute. Luís Artime scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Peruxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ made a substitution. Sahnoyan Şahbey replaced Daniel Ghișerel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Barreto in the 72nd minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Mejía to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Barreto in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Barreto came free, but Luís Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Mejía came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Edgar Barreto. But to his dismay, Edgar Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 82nd minute Edgar Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Mejía saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Barreto in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edgar Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Mejía was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Luís Mejía stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Barreto's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Luís Mejía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Barreto came free, but Luís Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Edgar Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Mejía made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
