Serbülent Baysan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frode Norum. 14 minutes into the game, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Jude Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cheeky Nuts United's Cent Haugsvær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Cruz in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cheeky Nuts United's Albert Føreland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serbülent Baysan. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play.
