In the 24th minute, Carloforte f.c.'s Cesare Cinalli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cesare Cinalli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carloforte f.c. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesare Cinalli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 23 minutes into the game, one of Carloforte f.c.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Ercole Marra came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Carloforte f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercole Marra couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes of play, SPARROWS's Naycho Strashilov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Federici was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benislav Bozov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, SPARROWS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Zegov to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes, Carloforte f.c.'s Bianco Mannucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrian Milevski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carloforte f.c. reached it. If Ferdinando Carosella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SPARROWS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
