Ercole Marra charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ercole Marra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ercole Marra kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alex Federici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanyo Mindizov in the 25th minute of play. Adrian Milevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Marra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Milevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ercole Marra went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arhangel Vladkov's late challenge caught a Carloforte f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arhangel Vladkov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carloforte f.c. booed when SPARROWS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arhangel Vladkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Milevski came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carloforte f.c.'s Arturo De Vito. But to his dismay, Arturo De Vito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Benislav Bozov took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Federici. Alex Federici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benislav Bozov to make the kick off. Amedeo Orioli was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Amedeo Orioli got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benislav Bozov in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Federici saved Carloforte f.c. from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huben Temelyotev got free with Alex Federici in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ercole Marra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adrian Milevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, SPARROWS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grozdan Grozev to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Carloforte f.c.'s Ercole Marra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Milevski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Alessandro Angelucci hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. SPARROWS's Benislav Bozov got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Carloforte f.c. from getting a goal against them. After 80 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Naycho Strashilov. In the 81st minute of the game, Benislav Bozov landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Raniolo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SPARROWS's Stefan Rendakov was substituted for Benislav Bozov. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Alfonso Raniolo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Arturo De Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Milevski having to interfere.
