Lucas Langoni did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wesley Meira 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes, Paulo Renato Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the ..Villa Rugby Club.. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Linhares to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Lucas Langoni put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wesley Meira. Wesley Meira was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Lucas Langoni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Langoni really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 14 minutes into the game, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Lucas Langoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Meira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Raimundo Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wesley Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Langoni. After 18 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Tinoco. In the 22nd minute, Sandrinho Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Rafael Leoncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Paulo Renato Linhares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Rene Higuita didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Manuel Iban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Meira came out of the goal and Manuel Iban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Langonis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Wesley Meira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Langoni in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Linhares in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes ..Villa Rugby Club.. got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Udalaitz. A collision led to ..Villa Rugby Club.. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Augusto Udalaitz hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Kopola during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Guillermo Kopola got a free kick in the 45th minute. Sandrinho Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rene Higuita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Langoni to strike the kick off in the second half. Wesley Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque James, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, Lucas Langoni notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Maverick Futebol Clube's Wesley Meira. Wesley Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Arnoldo Asier was substituted for Roque James. After 65 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Proença. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Lucas Langoni put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wesley Meira. When ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Lucas Langoni in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maverick Futebol Clube's Sandrinho Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Linhares came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Manuel Iban sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Meira skillfully saved the ball. Maverick Futebol Clube's Wesley Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Langoni in the 87th minute of play. Arnoldo Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Meira having to interfere. Manuel Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ..Villa Rugby Club.. fully deserved thier win.
