In the 15th minute David Garefrekes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Moses saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiger's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Lars Jeppesen scored to the left of an out of position Hartmut Weidenhammer, making the score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Viktor Bergman sped through Tiger's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hartmut Weidenhammer. Hartmut Weidenhammer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Jeppesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Timmernabben FF's Lou Moses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Garefrekes in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Tiger booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lou Moses took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulko Schwaderer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christer Majman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes, Edmund Trox mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiger and the Timmernabben FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmund Trox kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lou Moses took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raik Sauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Jeppesen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Lou Moses didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Garefrekes went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Tiger's Roberto Reeck was substituted for Edmund Trox. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christer Majman made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by David Groth. Tiger's David Garefrekes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lou Moses in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Raik Sauer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lou Moses was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hartfrid Hirtzel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Christer Majman took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hartmut Weidenhammer. Hartmut Weidenhammer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Raik Sauer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Lou Moses when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 67 minutes, Roberto Reeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Reeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jörg Hebenthal's late challenge caught a Timmernabben FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörg Hebenthal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Hebenthal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tiger getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Manuel Gebauer hit a great ball. Timmernabben FF's Lou Moses proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Timmernabben FF from getting a goal against them. Roberto Reeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Moses having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the match, Raik Sauer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lou Moses saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With 83 minutes on the clock, Hartfrid Hirtzel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
