Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iker Boruc started the match with the kick off. If Iker Boruc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arend Van Beneden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Boruc, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Boruc in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arend Van Beneden saved Bacardi FC from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Georges Engelberchs. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mathias-Alexander Pellegrims hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Osikowicz came free, but Arend Van Beneden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Juan Pablo Sorin had to leave the field with a concussion. Steven De Kelper's late challenge caught a ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steven De Kelper helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the game, Iker Boruc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arend Van Beneden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Bacardi FC defense, Iker Boruc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arend Van Beneden. The Bacardi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arend Van Beneden should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Stanny Geest hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Iker Boruc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arend Van Beneden was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Iker Boruc took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arend Van Beneden. Arend Van Beneden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Boruc in the 45th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diederick Meulders was the one to do the kick off. Iker Boruc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ made a substitution. Kaká Ferreira replaced Beraldo Soberano. The crowd rose to their feet as Iker Boruc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arend Van Beneden. That made the score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. 71 minutes in the game Stanny Geest did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Artuur Van Steen. Arend Van Beneden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Boruc, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Boruc. In the 82nd minute, Piotr Osikowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arend Van Beneden was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Arend Van Beneden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Boruc in the 84th minute. Iker Boruc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arend Van Beneden came out and tried to block the shot, but Iker Boruc slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 87th minute. Iker Boruc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arend Van Beneden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Boruc in the 96th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
