Diederick Meulders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juste Gilmore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's Diederick Meulders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juste Gilmore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Steven De Kelper struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Juste Gilmore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi FC. After some careless play in the Bacardi FC defense, Sándor Szilágyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arend Van Beneden. The Bacardi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arend Van Beneden should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by Levente Oláh. After a rather tough play, Bacardi FC's Diederick Meulders got a free kick in the 30th minute. Arend Van Beneden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balázs Héj in the 32nd minute of the match. The Bacardi FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Várdomb's performance. The match ended with a win for Várdomb.
