The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 周烽宁 to strike the kick off in the second half. Yatna Tomagola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 麦建浩, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 74 minutes AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 麦建浩 who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which 叶风帆 managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 冰谷 姚明 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nadeo Effendy in the 80th minute of the match. Yatna Tomagola came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 拜耳04勒沃库森's 麦建浩. But to his dismay, 麦建浩 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If 叶风帆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 拜耳04勒沃库森's 冰谷 姚明 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zakaria Pangestu in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, 拜耳04勒沃库森's 姚鹏镇 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. 拜耳04勒沃库森 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
